I had my normal check up the other day to make sure that my levels are where they need to be. Doctor B came in and told me that all of my blood test results came in perfect. My Progesterone is at 19.5 which is great. He then took out the Doppler machine to hear the heartbeat! I didn't know what to expect. Then he found the healthy beat of 177 beats/min :love:
The beat was so clear and was so unreal but it's there! I loved every single beat and wished I had recorded the sound to hear it over and over again. I think I'll do that at the next visit.
I also went ahead and agreed to do the Sequential screening for Down Syndrome. So I'm just waiting for the hospital to call me to make the appointment. At that time I'm hoping to have a clear ultrasound picture of my little growing bean....
Congratulations!!! Have you thought about getting a doppler to have at home? I used one with my last pregnant and it was so reassuring to listen to my baby for just a minute every couple of days. They are pretty inexpensive and worth it for the reassurance!
